DCP publishes borough boundary geometry as two separate NYC Open Data catalog datasets — not one dataset with a variant flag — distinguished by whether open water is included in the polygon.

Borough area and perimeter figures are DCP's own published values, retrieved directly from the two Borough Boundaries catalog datasets; this page does not independently recompute them. Source-update timestamps are Socrata's own data-update values for each catalog dataset, not this page's own retrieval or review time.
